J2210 - Our client is seeking a Account Manager, Office Equipment - UK, Mids to build & develop deep relationships with key existing and targeted new partners/manufacturers. The position will require strong account management skills and a good knowledge of the UK office products market. The ability to influence multiple stakeholders at all levels is a pre-requisite as is a proven track record of achievement in a large account management role.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Achievement of sales and profitability targets.
Establishing credibility within designated partner relationships and displaying knowledge and empathy with the partner sales team/management.
Work with partner management to agree appropriate strategies on penetration rates, SOW, processing efficiencies and training requirements in order to drive business growth.
Coach, train and develop relevant staff within key partners on key initiatives as and when required.
Produce monthly and quarterly business forecasts as required.
Develop and execute business plans to maximise partner opportunity and deliver annual business objectives.
Meet and review performance levels with the relevant internal stakeholders to ensure objectives are set and agreed.
Work directly with end user customers as required on large value opportunities to support in negotiating and closing large value/strategic opportunities.
Identify, prospect and win new partner opportunities within the geography to build partner portfolio.
Gain commitment from partners to use tools available and to train and influence partners to drive tool usage penetration levels.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Strong level of negotiating and solution selling skills.
Ability to plan & prioritise time to ensure commitments are met in agreed timescales.
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to identify, qualify, develop and close leasing opportunities.
Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
Experience in the asset finance leasing marketplace.
Experience in the Office Products market preferred.
Experience of using a CRM tool.
Possess a proven consultative financial sales background.
Knowledge of financial and budgetary accounting in a business context.
